Remember this card.
Back in the day it was one of the top 3 cards in ’85 Topps. Up there with Big Mac and The Rocket.
Eric never reached his full potential but still retired with a World Series ring, so that’s something.
He’s a colon cancer survivor who was a pretty inspiring guy while with the Orioles. But even before his illness he was pretty fragile and that’s a shame because he had rare talent.
supremely talented player and a guy that seemed to have his head on right, especially coming from a pretty bad area.
i also loved his 1985 donruss card, that was a huge card for me as a kid, loved it.
I had this card in a 1″ lucite holder for many, many years. Great card.
