I got it from a re-pack, very futuristic for it’s time.
Yeah, I remember these. They came out around the same time as the mini-cd cards. The problem with these is that not only did you have to have internet connection at the time, but also have to have your card by the computer so that you can type in the long http address on the card. Not only that, but the content wasn’t really anything beyond what ESPN’s player profiles would already give you. A forward thinking card, with no real thought as to how collectors were using the computer at the time. I can definitely see today’s version as a card with a RF scanner box that would lead you to exclusive content.
