More autographed baseballs…

I finally got to see the Babe Ruth ball in person. Here is a photo of his signature.

Pretty hard to see in the photo but the signature is real in that it isn’t printed, it’s actually signed. It will be up to the folks at Hunt Auctions to determine if it’s legit. Based on the story I am pretty confident it is. It also has a Lou Gehrig signature as well as a mess of other Yankees. The story goes is her father got it signed when he was a kid at a Yankees game.

Along with that ball are about 550 more. Here are a few of them.

  1. I guess that’s a small fortune’s worth.

  2. You have some very lovely smooth balls there!

  3. Glad they kept the balls out of sunlight. Nothing worse than fading balls.

  4. Holy crap! That is an insane collection, that Ruth-Gehrig ball alone is a key to someone’s collection but the rest are just as amazing. Besides the Ruth-Gehrig ball, the rest are in beautiful condition. I never realized Pee Wee Reese’s signature was so nice. Some athletes today could really take a lesson on how to sign an autograph so it is legible.

Are you going to sell them all as one lot or individually?
